New Accessible Kayak Launch on Cayuga Lake
Located at Frontenac Park in Union Springs, NY, this adaptive accessible kayak launch was opened to the community during a ribbon cutting ceremony September 21et. The BoardSafe dock is the first Adaptive Kayak Launch built on the Finger Lakes and it is the only fully handicap and ADA-compliant kayak launch on Cayuga Lake that provides universal access to all paddlers. The dock serves as an accessible launching point for the Cayuga County Blueway Trail.
